I fell in love with the ombré look almost instantly. After years of highlighting my hair, it was getting way too hard to maintain, but I didn't want to give up my blonde locks. Ombré was the perfect solution.
I love when my hair looks naturally sunkissed and didn't want it to look to freshly done before my wedding. I purposely had my ombré done about two months prior since I wanted it to really blend in.
Except that it really blended in.
About a week before the wedding I was wondering where my highlights had gone. I decided to give this John Frieda gloss a try in hopes of freshening up my color for the big day.
The directions tell you to be a bit heavy-handed with the application and I definitely found this to be most effective.
After shampooing and conditioning I covered my hair with the gloss and let it sit for about five minutes.
After styling my highlights were back! The blonde was so refreshed my mother-in-law asked if I had gotten my highlights done again.
I am very impressed with this gloss. Not only did it freshen my color, it did not feel damaging like some semipermanent colors can.
It comes in various shades so make sure you choose yours carefully to get the desired results.
I will post some picture when I get back from my trip but until then... Happy glossing!
