The 4th of July is upon us, along with warmer summer weather, barbecues and fireworks galore. I'm not one for any sort of statement so far as patriotic attire goes- so I tend to stick to understated pieces that still fit the red, white and blue theme. Since I don't wear red, I play up the white and the pale blues to look festive. I've rounded up a few great outfit choices that you can rock this upcoming weekend.
Seersucker is a great preppy option for the fourth and the knot makes it a little more casual and relaxed. I love it paired with white jeans or shorts!
This top is definitely one of my most frequently worn. The eyelet detail is everything! Runs TTS.
This chambray top is adorable and I love that option for anything requiring patiotism.
This top will likely be the one I'm wearing next weekend since it has the most subtle red detailing I could find.
When all else fails, go with a white top. This one is adorable and I'm obsessed with the knot!
It is no surprise that I love my shoes. I love shoe shopping but I do find that I am SO picky when it comes to what shoes I like during summer. My favorite is a closed-toe espadrille but no matter what type of shoe it is, it's always neutral.
This week I ordered these sandals which are a little dressier than what I have in my closet and I LOVE them. I've been eyeingthe heels since back in April and after my obsession with fluid shorts I knew I needed something a bit more sleek to pair them with.
I ordered a few pairs of fringe sandals in the past and have returned them all because I slip and slide right out of them every time. I ADORE these $79 gems because they have a separator in between the toes which keeps them on without an issue! My guess is they won't stay in stock for too long! I gotthe caramel color but I also love the cognac.
I've also been wanting a pair of gladiator sandals and these are so comfy I can hardly believe it. They also have a zipper in the back so they are easy to get on and off. They are a little pricey but the comfort is worth it.
While my style is casual, it's also very soft and feminine all at once. Even when I dress down I like to polish off my outfit with the right accessories. I have gotten more use out of my pink sneakers this season than any of my other casual shoes. Both this pair (size down one full size) AND this pair are back in stock and I cannot recommend them enough. I love them with dresses like this one too!
Which is your favorite?
In a true story, I accidentally ordered this tee not twice, but three times. Teacher brain has taken over but I love it THAT much. The color is my favorite so I couldn't resist- three times. I sized up one size in these shorts too.
Over on the blog talking about Monday's Must-Have tops and this is my number one pick. It is the one I grab for the most and I it looks great with everything!
The sleeves on this $29 are so good and it is so soft too. I love the color and believe it or not, I want it in black! Perfect for date night.
RESTOCKED! These sneakers are back in all sizes as of now but I don't think that will last long. They run TTS and so comfy. Perfect for summer with cut off shorts or a super soft varsity tee like this one.
Here is the top you all went crazy for recently - it comes in blue too which I think you'd love. These jeans are my absolute favorites at the moment and you know my obsession with these shoes too. Still on sale!
This top is 40% off making it under $30! I love it for work or the weekend and it comes in coral too!! These jeans are $58 too and totally awesome.
I've been waiting to find a kimono I love and this $39 beauty is it. If you need the perfect white tee this one is $18! My tote is under $50 too.
