The 4th of July is upon us, along with warmer summer weather, barbecues and fireworks galore. I'm not one for any sort of statement so far as patriotic attire goes- so I tend to stick to understated pieces that still fit the red, white and blue theme. Since I don't wear red, I play up the white and the pale blues to look festive. I've rounded up a few great outfit choices that you can rock this upcoming weekend.
Seersucker is a great preppy option for the fourth and the knot makes it a little more casual and relaxed. I love it paired with white jeans or shorts!
This top is definitely one of my most frequently worn. The eyelet detail is everything! Runs TTS.
This chambray top is adorable and I love that option for anything requiring patiotism.
This top will likely be the one I'm wearing next weekend since it has the most subtle red detailing I could find.
When all else fails, go with a white top. This one is adorable and I'm obsessed with the knot!
There are some amazing sales happening this weekend so I've rounded up my very favorite ones for you.

HERE ARE MY TOP PICKS
It is no surprise that I love my shoes. I love shoe shopping but I do find that I am SO picky when it comes to what shoes I like during summer. My favorite is a closed-toe espadrille but no matter what type of shoe it is, it's always neutral.
This week I ordered these sandals which are a little dressier than what I have in my closet and I LOVE them. I've been eyeingthe heels since back in April and after my obsession with fluid shorts I knew I needed something a bit more sleek to pair them with.
I ordered a few pairs of fringe sandals in the past and have returned them all because I slip and slide right out of them every time. I ADORE these $79 gems because they have a separator in between the toes which keeps them on without an issue! My guess is they won't stay in stock for too long! I gotthe caramel color but I also love the cognac.
I've also been wanting a pair of gladiator sandals and these are so comfy I can hardly believe it. They also have a zipper in the back so they are easy to get on and off. They are a little pricey but the comfort is worth it.
While my style is casual, it's also very soft and feminine all at once. Even when I dress down I like to polish off my outfit with the right accessories. I have gotten more use out of my pink sneakers this season than any of my other casual shoes. Both this pair (size down one full size) AND this pair are back in stock and I cannot recommend them enough. I love them with dresses like this one too!
Which is your favorite?
This little $39 tank is so perfect for the 4th of July if you like an understated look like I do. It comes in white too!
You know my obsession with this tank... the colors though. Also- my scalloped tote is under $50 too!
Chambray shorts?! Don't mind if I do. They are so comfy and I love the color for summer. This is the super soft sweatshirt you all loved too! I need another color.
Dinner tonight with my dad for Father's Day... this top is probably my favorite tank right now. So easy to wear! Can we also discuss this under $50 striped tote? Obsessed.
One of the pairs of fluid shorts I've been scouring the web for- under $50! they were all linked in my Friday Favorites post yesterday and I'm smitten. They even have little scallops too! These under $70 sandals are the cutest and they are hard to find on the site- it's like they were hiding. They come in bright colors too but you know wouldn't be having that around here.
Loving the crochet detailing on these shorts! And we know my obsession with this color tee! PS- I sized up half a size on these shoes.
These sunnies are back in stock and are under $15! I also wanted to show you the fit on these shorts and that they are on the longer side... also if you're a cami-hater- this $22 beauty might change your mind! It's not low-cut at all and it's super long in length too!
