The most important thing to do for yourself when wanting to look your best is to stay hydrated. This is something I struggle with. I rarely drink enough water throughout the day. I have found that by adding fruit to my water I do drink more of it. Some of my favorites are cucumbers, strawberries, and this apple cinnamon concoction I created. Aim to drink half of your body weight in water. (in ounces) Not everyone needs eight full glasses. Drinking enough water will make your complexion glow and will fill any fine line you may have.
I drink a ton of coffee so my teeth definitely take a beating. Crest Whitestrips have worked wonders for me over the years and I can always tell when I'm due for my next set of Whitestrips. I don't always use the whole box though. I usually use half the box and only do them once a day to help with sensitivity.
I use my Argan Oil prior to my BB cream and over time it continues to smooth and even my skin tone while giving it an awesome glow. More detailed review coming up soon!
RapidLash is my go-to eyelash conditioner. This gel helps my eyelashes look their best. In using this I have found my lashes to be in better condition and to grow longer. I start using this about a month before the event.
I always like to deep condition my hair before a big event, but the key is to never do the night before! Deep conditioning makes hair less manageable and way too soft to style with any sort of ease. Deep condition your hair two -three days before the event and it's best to not wash your hair the day of your event at all. Hair with a little dirt does everything better.
John Frieda has a few color-correcting products that I have always used. His newest is his Color-Refreshing Gloss. It comes in various cool or warm shades and will help take away any unwanted tints. This is great to do to keep your color looking fresher before an event. More detailed review coming soon!
Since dirty hair styles better, I use dry shampoo to increase the amount of time between washes. This is a must have for the day of any big event.
