When I was contacted by Enza Essentials to review their products I was in the midst of revamping my beauty routine a bit. Winter had wreaked havoc on my skin and I was trying to baby it a bit to get it back on track.
I have sensitive, break-out prone skin that can be irritated easily. I have to be careful what I use on my face so I approach new products cautiously.
I filled out a survey explaining my specific needs for my skin. Enza Essentials take each individual's skin type, lifestyle, hobbies, and location into consideration with their skin care line. Based on these results they put together a group of products just for me that would compliment each other and work together. I really think this is a key part of a good beauty regimen.
OUR CUSTOMIZED SYSTEM.
Like most guys, my husband basically uses whatever I leave in the shower. So this was no exception. The difference here is that my husband's skin is even more sensitive than mine. He struggles with various issues that flare up due to heat and to stress. The winter months were hard on his skin too and it seemed like we could not get it to a consistent place.
Once he started using these products everything changed for him. His rosy cheeks weren't rosy and his irritations were essentially gone. He could not believe the difference. Like many guys, he doesn't put much thought into his nightly routine, but once seeing the results from this system, he doesn't miss a step.
I'm so happy to see how pleased he is with his skin's progress, except I'm not as excited about sharing these products!
And now for a review of each product...
Cool Sustaining Toner: This is a gentle cooling toner that tones down redness and puffiness. This really helps to calm my husband's skin. It is gentle and non-drying like most toners.
Glycolic Serum: Glycolic acid serves as a gentle exfoliator and has helped me need to exfoliate less overall.
Vitamin C Serum: This is a lightweight oil-free gel that I use in addition to my morning moisturizer. It is so lightweight that I am able to layer it with my BB creams for additional moisture.
Stress Extraction Creme: This cream has made all of the different in keeping our breakouts at bay. It conditions and hydrates your skin while shielding against moisture loss and acne flare-ups. The oil-free cream saturates your skin with vitamin A, C and E esters.
Advanced Protection SPF 30: This is a lightweight SPF product that we wore when we go for our walks in the park. I loved that it kept our faces protected without breaking us out. I'm hoping to convince my husband to start wearing it every day as well.
A special thanks to Enza Essentials for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
