I know I've mentioned that I don't love Spring and I think shoes can be one of the trickiest parts of getting dressed. In case you struggle with the same thing I do, I put together this post as a guide for the kinds of shoes that are great to add to the wardrobe as the weather warms up.
Spring sneakers are fun to shop for. I'm asked time and time again for my top sneaker recommendations and they are always the same. I love a slip-on sneaker like this and I LOVE Adidas Gazelles. They seriously go with EVERYTHING. This season I've also found some super versatile sneakers that I can wear with dresses, joggers or jeans.
BOOTIES & PEEP TOES
I love wearing booties and dresses. I find that I can get away with Spring clothes in cooler weather if my feet are warm. I lean towards these shoes until it truly warms up. Also- sandals and seven-year-olds running around my classroom- scare me deeply. These non-suede booties are awesome and these peep toes look great with everything!
Mules are a great in-between shoes and these are some great choices to make your outfits a little more spring-y. Even a cardigan looks less like winter with these shoes in tow. I just found these rose gold beauties and these boho dreams NEED to be paired with peasant tops.
SANDALS AND ESPADRILLES
These sandals are both flattering and comfy. I got the taupe but might also get the tan color as well. They are already selling out at Nordstrom, so you can also get them here and here too. I got these sandals in addition to last year's and I like this year's better. I got these pink espadrilles and didn't love the picture online, then they came. I am smitten. Size down a half a size.
