Speak softly, but carry a big stick. ~Teddy Roosevelt
In my life I've always tried to fly under the radar. At work and in my personal life, I keep my circles pretty small. As many followers as I have on Instagram, I often hear "I've never heard of you." I like it that way. I'm just an average girl snapping a few pictures of the outfits she loves. I post the things I really wear and really love.
Instagram is one of my favorite hobbies, it has introduced me to some amazing people. The community has taught so much about style and how to be in love with how you dress.
I like to believe that I run my account in a way that is true to myself and my IG friends that follow me. I try to create outfits I love, with pieces that I adore.
I've been out of the classroom for two years and it has been one of the biggest challenges I've had in my career. There were a lot of hard days and I always found that dressing well helped me to feel better. Next year I plan to head back to my own classroom. The thing I missed most about having a classroom was feeling like I did something that really mattered every single day. As it turns out, I need that feeling in order to be fulfilled in my own life. For me, Instagram is no different. If I didn't feel I was brightening even one person's day, I wouldn't do it.
I recently bought an investment piece after seeing it on Julia from Gal Meets Glam. As silly as it is, I know I would have never found that perfect pink jacket if she hadn't posted it, so she changed my fashion life for the better. Every time I feel amazing in that jacket I have her to thank. I hope I can do that for someone too.
So thank you for following along, and I hope we can keep inspiring each other to get up, dress up, and show up, every single day.
