But you keep my old scarf from that very first week, 'cause it reminds you of innocence and it smells like me. ~Taylor Swift
The early days of fall are the hardest because it is that time where it is cold but no one wants to turn on the heat. I tend to dress in a ton of layers and if I have one staple, it is a scarf.
I own entirely too many scarves but I can say that they all get some time in the spotlight. A scarf becomes my statement necklace as soon as temperatures drop. I am always so much warmer when I wear one.
I fell in love with the idea of blanket scarves as soon as I started seeing them on Instagram. They are probably the warmest scarves on the planet. Everyone has been obsessed with Zara blanket scarves and I went ahead and bought one as soon as I had the chance. I had to see what all of the fuss was about. They are very fuzzy and look great with lots of outfits.
I had added a few more varieties from one of my favorite Etsy stores, The Providence Story, to my wishlist to round out my collection. I wrote to her once asking about her scarves and she told me about how she is very particular about the material she uses when she makes them.
Once my scarf showed up on my doorstep I saw exactly what she meant. It was soft and almost moldable. It was not fuzzy and felt like it was a very good-quality material. I was sold. I already own two and I plan on adding another to my wardrobe.
Anything this cute that keeps me warm is sure to become a closet staple. I am pretty sure this scarf is going to be on repeat until summer comes back around.
